Greetings one and all
Today I'm gonna have a bit of fun, and so I’ve put together a shortlist of what I'd like to see in 2021 in regards to Warhammer 40k and Games Workshop. Let’s get started.
More Plastic Guardsmen
Plastic guardsmen of other regiments. Bring back the Valhallans Ice Warriors, the Armageddon Steel Legion, the Mordian Iron guard. All they'd have to do is a command squad and an infantry squad. It would bring a nice level of variety to the army.
Battlefleet Gothic
If the rumours are true, this is actually coming at some point. For those of you that are too young to remember, Battlefleet Gothic is a tabletop game where you take control of the ships of the various species of the 40k universe. Imagine a game where you can command the behemoth that is an Emperor class battleship, or the Elder Hemlock Destroyer which is more like an engine with a huge gun strapped to it. Personally, I can't wait to be throwing nova cannon shells at ships across the board again. (And as an extra, the models could also be used as props for Rogue Trader.)
Imperial Armour Masterclass Series
This next one is a pipe dream, but I'd love for Forgeworld to do a reprint of their Imperial Armour Masterclass series. I've been using the first book again recently, and so I started looking for book two as an addition to my library. But it’s now going for about £100, which is clearly an insane price. So yeah, please can Forgeworld do a reprint I can buy for a price that's reasonable?
Adeptus Titanicus Control Terminals
Yes, I know these exist. However, I don't want to have to buy a pack where 2 out of 5 are useful. Doing a pack for each specific titian would make it so much easier to get the boards you need, instead of having to buy 2 or more packs full of boards you don’t.
World Eaters
I'm aware of what the rumours are saying, Emperor's Children, but I want the World Eaters to get some love. New Berzerkers, Deamon Engines, and an Angron model please Games Workshop, make it happen. Give us some love.
And that's my list of wishes for 2021 (aside from winning the lottery of course). I'm sure most of these are just pipe dreams, but it doesn't hurt to dream.
