Greetings one and all,
Last week saw the reveal of the new boxset for the Horus Heresy, Saturnine.
This is a mega boxset with everything you'll need to to start this new edition of the Horus Heresy.

Inside the box you’ll find:
50 plastic Citadel miniatures
A 352-page Age of Darkness hardback rulebook
A construction guide/first game guide
Four reference sheets
Three weapon templates (large blast, small blast and everyone’s favourite – the flamer template)
21 dice (20 regular ordinary D6s and one scatter dice)
A range ruler
40 tactical status and objective tokens
A truly impressive transfer sheet comprising 1,172 decals.
As you can see this box is absolutely filled to the brim with plastic. In fact let's look a little more in detail at those 50 miniatures.

1 Praetor in Saturnine terminator armour and can be armed with concussion hammer or Saturnine war axe plus a plasma blaster.

1 Centurion in MK II power armour and has a combination melta and a power mace (hopefully he wont be too hard to convert)

1 Saturnine Dreadnought protected by thermal diffraction fields and weilding disintegrator cannon, heavy plasma bombard or photonic incinerators. This model is huge (both in actual size and im going to assume his impact on any battle field).

6 Saturnine Terminators, with thick layers of armour and thermal diffraction fields these have got to be some of the best protected marines outside a land raider. Not only that but they pack some of the heaviest weapons we've seen not mounted on a tank plasma bombards, heavy disintegrators, and disruption fists make for a deadly loadout.

40 Legionaries in MK II Power Armour coming with all the usual additions that allow you to make a Vexilla, Nuncio-vox and Sergeant. But, also give you 36 of the new disintegrator weapons – a mix of pistols, rifles, blasters and heavy disintegrators.

And lastly you'll get 1 Araknae Quad Accelerator Platform which has a atomantic pavisse and 4 Accelerator Autocannons that's a lot of daka.
I'll be going over some of the key features of this new boxset in the next few articles so stay tuned.
