Greetings one and all,
Hot on the tail of yesterday's article, we're going to keeping talking about the New releases.
Though if you'll indulge me I’d like to talk about something not in the Saturnine boxset. Today I'm gonna talk about the Rapier Gun Carrage.
What is a Rapier?
So this is a model that's been wanted/needed in plastic for years. Its a handy little thing for so many legions and lists, it's a crime it's taken this long.
The Rapier is basically an RC car on steroids. Oh and it's normally got a massive gun or cannon mounted on it.
(Honestly I can see a robot wars Imperial propaganda show)
In 2nd ed, the firepower these little things would bring was amazing value for points. You have four options for equiping your RC car from hell; graviton cannon, quad-bolter option, quad-launcher, or laser-destroyer.
What do you get in a box?
In the box, as far as we know, you'll get two Rapiers and four crew/operators.
There will be two boxes, each with two of the four weapons, one with a graviton or quad-bolter option and one with a quad-launcher or laser-destroyer. I can see the quad-launcher or laser-destroyer boxset being very popular.
My thoughts
I have a few thoughts on this kit, which I'll now go into.
It'sabout bloody time!
Those crew would be excellent for Techmarine conversions.
And, every model is a Necromunda model!
When?
These aren't being released with the Saturnine box, but are going to be released later on at a guess in October/November ish kinda time, and again there is no confirmed price, but are likely to be around the £40 mark.
